Stay at IDLEWILD
The story

IDLEWILD is the newest design villa in Uluwatu — three ensuite bedrooms, six thousand square feet, mid-century lines meeting modern Bali.

Built the way you'd build a house you actually planned to live in. A pool long enough to lounge by properly, a kitchen made for entertaining, bedrooms that don't skimp on the linens.

In Uluwatu, that idea holds.

Let the outside in.

Hand-laid Balinese brick meets mahogany and poured concrete — an owner-designed space where mid-century aesthetic meets modern Bali. The boundary between inside and out is treated as a suggestion: gardens visible from every room, light moving through the day the way it would through an open courtyard, because that's effectively what this is.

The stay

Worth staying in for.

Vintage rugs and throws collected over years of travel. Sliding doors that put the garden within reach of the sofa.

The bedrooms carry the same logic — a considered pillow selection, hand-selected linens, teak wardrobes. The bathrooms go further: stone soaking tubs, handmade basins, walls of glass that turn a shower into a garden view.

Built for serious cooking as much as casual entertaining with appliances from Nespresso and SMEG, and a slushie machine for the afternoons that call for one.

Three ensuites, each with its own relationship to the outdoors. Stone tubs, handmade basins, garden views from the shower.
